TV shows dissapear from menu with iTunes 9

Ok hear me out...

This problem only ever started happening after the iTunes 9 update.

After I've watched a 'new' show on the AppleTV the AppleTV removes it from it's menu, anyone else experienced this? I can't figure out the answer to keep them there.

You probably have the Apple TV settings - in iTunes - set to sync only unwatched episodes of shows, possibly with the addition of having "show only the synced items on my Apple TV" checked on the summary page.

Thing is I don't sync, this is all streamed content.
