No affiliation to the developer for this one, but this is one tweak I have been searching months for. And it works phenomenally.

If you use the calendar on your iPhone to remind you of things to do, surely you've had your phone notify you of something at the wrong time when you are wrapped up with other things. Before, in order to have your phone remind you of this event again, you would have had to go into the event, change the date and time, save, and close out. A bit of a time waster.

This allows you to simply 'snooze' it for 5 minutes, or if you hold down the snooze, select snooze anywhere up to 60 minutes.

BIT OF A BUMP HERE.

I posted this last year and absolutely loved it, but the dev has not updated it for iOS 5 and I desperately need another 'Snooze' option for my calendar events (or even Reminders, if possible).

Anyone know of any tweaks like this out there that are compatible with iOS 5???

Nope. Anyone interested should send the developer a request to update to iOS5 in Cydia. Otherwise, he won't know how in demand this great tweak is.

Dude, you know you're directing this towards the one member whom has contributed the most in this section? Think first, speak later ;)

You might want to heed you're own advice. OP appreciated my "HELP" and that's all that matters.

We have developed Snooze Me:
Snooze Me collects all calendar alerts that have fired and lists them according to their time of popping up as banner or alert.

Snooze Me works great with all iOS calendar alerts (built-in Calendar app, Google, CalDav, iCloud, Exchange, etc.)

Features:

- All alerts are listed and show the time they were fired and will fire again.
- Set the snooze interval or exact time, by event.
- No need to start any calendar app.
- Customize Snooze screen values.
- Choice of 25 sounds of different length.

Just an update for you guys. I spoke with the developer about this tweak. He stated that iOS 5 has changed so much that this tweak would require a complete rewrite. He also let me know that he has open sourced the code if anyone is brave enough to try and make it work again. He said he just doesn't have time to do the entire rewrite and he's now using LockInfo's repeating reminders.

Heartbreaking.

I spent the .99 on this.

This does not replace RemindMeLater. From what I have found, you can MANUALLY GO INTO THIS APP AFTER A CALENDAR EVENT HAS GONE OFF ON YOUR PHONE, AND MANUALLY SET THE OPTION FOR A REMINDER. There is no option to have your reminders automatically prompt for a snooze.

Unfortunately, what we are looking for is a tweak that will have to come from the jailbreak community.

Screw it.

I don't know a thing about coding, but I am going to find out how to make this tweak.

I might charge $10 for it.

Crap. I just got my 4s recently (right before 5.1), and was getting ready to jailbreak specifically for this tweak. I read about it but didn't see iOS5 disabled it until I just read this. It's absolutely insane not to have a snooze function... do iOS developers not have busy calendars, or sit in front of their PC's all day with desktop alarms? This has been a basic function of phones-as-organizers since the Treo days.

For the organizationally-challenged, this is a huge glaring flaw and so easy to implement. I see complaints on this that go back to the 1st iphone, so why hasn't it been addressed? (Grumble)

How about Notifier+ ?? It has repeat alarms for calendars, emails, sms, phone calls and voice mail?

Just found this:

https://github.com/varju/RemindMeLater

Dev provided his source code from I think iOS 4 so someone could piggy back off of his work. If anyone is interested, this would be awesome!

(Clearly I had no idea what I was volunteering for above. Coding is not for me. :p )
