I hate having to go open the calendar app and add an event that way... Is there a way to quickly add one? Maybe a notiication center button to add an event (kind of like "tap to note", or "compose" except for a calendar)? Thanks.

Wow. One tap to open Calendar and one tap on the + sign. Huh.

You don't like quick compose buttons either I take it? I spit on convenience tweaks all the time too. It's so much easier to leave whatever you're doing, scroll to find an app, and then perform a function, rather than swipe something to do the function without leaving what you're doing. Thumbs up.

This would be a useful tweak I would like to see something like this as well. But if you have Siri, that is probably as quick or quicker anyway. I would use it at times that I can't/don't want to use Siri, like during a meeting.

Exactly. Or for those times when Siri misunderstands a date or time, and it takes even longer to fix the issue.
