So I showed my friend my phone yesterday and as a "joke" he put a passcode on my phone (I do not use a passcode) and I could not get into my phone for several minutes

I work from home, I don't really need a passcode. Is there a way to disable it being an option to keep this from happening again

settings -> general
a bit of the way down, there's the autolock and passcode options.

not really a tweak or hack or something that needs jailbreak.

I think the OP wants to hide the settings for passcode lock all together. Not just turn it off.

I don't think you can hide individual menu items in settings, but you can hide settings all together as a whole using springtomize. You would obviously need to unhide it if you wanted to make any changes.

You mean hide the app? I know how to do that but I just want to get rid of the passcode feature since I don't need it. I was hoping a tweak would grey it out
