iPhone Tweaking i4S performance?

Hello. I've recently noticed this topic somewhere: http://modmyi.com/forums/file-mods/682255-speed-up-your-iphone-ipod-removing-launch-daemons.html I was wondering if this would boost my iPhone 4s as now I notice some little, but quiet annoying lag when playing games like GTA or any other that requires nice amount of power. Also I was hoping that this would reduce battery usage quiet a bit. However I don't know if this isn't outdated, is it safe? Will this boost my device noticeably? Also, is there any new tutorial on how to tweak newer iPhone generations in that way?

just download iCleaner and disable them from there. As for performance, I haven't noticed any difference at all cept for some extra tiny bit more smoothness.

Add Accelerate. Lag - what lag? Mine's set at "Ferrari" - I can't imagine what the faster ones do. Maybe make the phone think for itself?

Accelerate won't prevent games from being laggy.
