iPhone Tweetbot 2

So my 16 month old daughter deleted my tweetbot app on my jailbroken (6.1) i5. It's not in the AppStore and when I go to the purchased section the wheel spins for a second and then nothing loads! Does anybody know how to get the purchased section working?

I know the tweetbot blog says they will maybe put the old version back up after a couple of weeks. Is there a way I could download it somewhere else since I'm jailbroken? Or am I just going to have to wait? Can anyone help? Thanks!

It should be in your itunes under apps, just reinstall from there

Do you mean plug my jailbroken phone into iTunes on my computer and somehow put it on there?

Yes, you can use itunes as normal, but if you have never done that chance are that it is not on there either.
iTunes is the main interface with the phone.

People should research more before starting jailbreaking

Yes I know that. I don't use iTunes though very much so it's not backed up there.

Sorry I probably sounded like an idiot with my post about plugging my "jailbroken phone into iTunes". I'm really tired and I'm just paranoid about losing my jailbreak. I've been jailbroken since February and I've had a good experience being jailbroken. Just don't want to lose it!

Maybe somebody could give me a copy of tweetbot 2 somehow like from a Dropbox link or something? I'm not sure how that works but I've retrieved other files that way.

Are you connected using cellular or wifi? Try to sign out of app store and back in and find a strong wifi.

I have strong wi-fi and cell. Signed out and logged back in 20 times and restarted. Not working. After googling and seeing all of the old post about people's App Store problems, it looks like it was a common problem. Not sure if it was ever resolved. And being that I'm on 6.1 it probably never will be. But in the past my purchased list did show up. So it's kinda weird.

So I found it on appaddict.org and have it downloaded and unzipped. How do I get it installed? I have the tweetbot.app folder. Where do I put it? I don't want to screw things up! I'm using ifile.

It was in a payload folder. I'm unsure of what to do next. I noticed other apps have a documents, library,tmp folders along with an itunesartwork file and itunesmetadata.plist file. I'm assuming I'm going to need those folders and files for the app to be installed properly without bricking my phone! Can anybody help me out?

I found the two iTunes files with the unzip. Do I just creat a new "tweetbot" folder in the /var/mobile/Applications folder and put the tweetbot.app and iTunes files in there? Then do I just create a documents folder and library and tmp folder and reboot and call it good? I just want to be sure I'm not going to destroy something!

You do know that each ipa file of each app is associated with your apple ID, right? Downloading someone else's won't work

Besides that, you don't unzip it, you drag the ipa file into iTunes and just install the app using iTunes

So the one I downloaded wont work anyways? I do own a copy of it but its currently gone from the App Store. I'm just looking to get the current version back on.

I actually went on my pc and put an older version back onto my phone. When I tried to log in it said I needed the most current version. So it took me to tweetbot 3 in the App Store.... Frustrating!! so back at square one....
