Twittelator Pro vs Tweetie

I am very happy with Twittelator. I am a huge fan of the 'are you sure you want to send this message' feature because it eliminates me sending dumb and poorly spelled messages. The search is very powerful, the navigation makes sense, and the layout is clean. There are 3 color schemes as well. I am still waiting to see who lands Push Notifications first, but for now Twittelator was worth my 5 dollars.
I think Tweetie is great. Simple but elegant app that is very well developed. Well, both are, and both are great. It's a pretty hard choice. I find myself constantly switching between the two, when I get sick of the UI of one of them.
I use both, I love Tweetie for how simple and straightforward it is. I love Twittelator because you can upload 3G S video right from the app to yfrog. Twittelator seems to pack way too many features in without explaining how to get to any of them.
Click on someone's avatar, brings up some options. Click on their name, other options. They cram way too much in and I like how Tweetie just lets you slide the Tweet to reply.
I do like how Twittelator tells you how many new tweets you have.
They both have their merits but if it wasnt for video I would not have bought Twittelator.

I own both, and used Tweetie for a long time, but I'm using Twittelator now. They both do most things I want, but here's specifically why I use Twittelalor over Tweetie:
1- Alerts you to new @s
2- Able to record and upload audio tweets
3- Better icon (silly, but makes a difference for me)

I've used both and TweetDeck and now I'm using SimplyTweet, which I think I find the best, from ease of use, look and its functions. There's a free and pro version. I started w/ the free version but quickly bought the full version as it has the ability to post links from within Safari. Recommended.
I have Tweetie, Twittelator Pro, TweetDeck, and the beta of SimplyTweet. I am also liking SimplyTweet the best currently. SimplyTweet has push working like a charm so that is another bonus.
Between the two you mention, I love every aspect of Tweetie except that lack of badges for new tweets. Before SimplyTweet, that was what made me use Twittelator Pro more.
I use both TP (Twittelator Pro) and Tweetie extensively. TP is great for badge alerts for DMs, @mentions, shortening URL posted links, and it also auto-refreshes the feed. Lastly, TP has a great search function. Tweetie is great for (as others have said) it's simplicity. I also find it much easier/faster to *follow people on Tweetie than TP. Lastly, if I want to delete a tweet that I already sent, I use Tweetie (which deletes the tweet from all the Twitter servers). TP is my "main Twitter app" but because Tweetie can do 1 or 2 things that TP can't, I keep it around as well.
