i think both of these say that they are updated for the new 6s. But I can't seem to enable the 3D Touch shortcut things in these two apps. All of the Apple apps seem to be working with 3D Touch. I was wondering if anyone was able to get these two apps to work with the 3D Touch? I keep pressing down and get the haptic feedback, but nothing is happening.

Both are working with 3D Touch for me.

Instagram works fine but nothing on the Twitter app for me.

I managed to get both Twitter and Instagram working, but it wasn't easy, I had to keep removing my info completely from the phone, and reinstall the apps again. Over and over till it worked. I still can't get Facebook to do 3D touch, and I have read that it's updated to work with 3D touch also.

You shouldn't have to install/remove. just open the app once and back out of it, then try. Works every time for me.
Also I don't think Facebook has been updated yet.

Not sure. But it took a lot of trial and error for me. Got everything except Facebook working. But some articles published today stated Facebook was updated also. Unless they pulled the update? Not sure.

Dude. THANK YOU!!! OMG. Was driving me bananas!!

ETA:

Yeah, FB isn't working even after the "in/out" trick, but I could've sworn I read today that it'd been updated too.

I did read on a few websites that Facebook should have been updated for 3D touch. But alas, they are late to the party. As it has not updated yet.

I had to re-download it from the app store, having restored from my iPhone 6 backup. Then the in and out trick worked. Many thanks!

For Twitter, is the only application of 3D Touch the homescreen shortcuts?

I'd love for peek and pop to work in-app to check out links before actually opening them. Is this a feature for anyone else? If not, I'm hoping they're working on adding peek and pop to the app.
