Twitter Notifications (Use App instead)

I'm sorry if this is covered somewhere else, my google-fu failed me...


I love the notifications in Mountain Lion, but with one issue... when I get a twitter notification and click on it, it brings up the twitter website. I'd much rather it direct me to the open twitter app.

Is there any way to do this?

Not possible - the system integration has nothing to do with the app which in no way supports the NC and is unlikely to to given that it hasn't been upgraded in a couple of years. It supports growl for notifications and that's it.
