I tried so hard to keep my Airpods pro because they are an amazing piece of tech. Love the noise canceling and how you can switch it on/off and let in background noise. So convenient and cool. I tried them when they first came out and returned them after a week because they left my ears hurting but lots of people told me to give it more time so I tried again, but I still had to get rid of them.
My issues:
1. They still hurt my ears even after a few weeks. My ears felt like they were really pressurized even when not using noise canceling. Just left me really sore if I used them more than 10 minutes.
2. I couldn't get a perfect fit. I was in between the medium and large size so they always felt off a bit no matter what I did. Also, the only way to get them to stay in my ear with any size tip was to have the stick point almost straight out, not down. I really don't care how I look but it just reinforces my belief that I have weird ears since most people's I see point more downward.
3. For some reason I had a ton of issues with getting both Airpods to work consistently. I'd be using them and the right would go out or the left, leaving just one on. I'd have to stop my run and tinker with my Airpods. Really puts a damper on a timed run.
That said, I still like the original Airpods. I can even run in them with only having them fall out once in about 4 months or so and I forget they are in my ears sometimes.
