The Land of Hope and Glory
I was trying to find the cheapest way to hook up three monitors to my new Mac Studio and wondered if someone could suggest something? I could go all out and get a Thunderbolt 4 hub, but for the time being, I'd like to spend a little less if possible. On the other hand, if a Thunderbolt 4 hub is the only way, I'll get that.

Just looking for advice.

Thank you.

Why not just buy two USB-C to DisplayPort cables and an HDMI cable and call it a day. That will still leave you with two TB ports on the back of the machine for other accessories.

A Thunderbolt (TB3 or TB4) dock or hub or adapter can only connect two displays. A TB4 dock or hub will have one free downstream Thunderbolt port.

Any of these solutions will allow connecting two HBR2 displays (4K60 10bpc, 5Kx1440 60Hz 10bpc) or two HBR2+DSC displays (4K144, 5K60, 6K60).
But it's probably less expensive to get USB-C to DisplayPort adapters which would also allow connecting HBR3 displays.

The OP asks for the cheapest solution, where the 1st reply already gave the answer. Get two type-C DisplayPort cable which are like $12 each, then grab a HDMI cable that's lying around your house so $0.

Plug the two type-C DP cable to the front of the Mac Studio to spare all 4 TB4 ports at the back for other purposes. The HDMI cable then well, goes to the HDMI port of course.

The OP asks for something a little cheaper than a Thunderbolt 4 hub. I think a Thunderbolt 3 to Dual DisplayPort adapter qualifies (less than half the price) - like the ones @bogdanw and I linked. They are more expensive than your $12 adapters but they save a Thunderbolt port.
