I might be wrong but in Yosemite I could two finger tap on my keynote or numbers icon in dock and a pop up window would show me all my documents in the actual app even the ones that were not open.
In El Capitan I just don't get it to work that way.
Anybody else experiencing this or is it a hidden feature?
Thanks

Thanks but that (just as two finger tap) shows the documents that are open when the app is open already. It doesn't show any document I can choose from when the app is not open yet, as I think I could in Yosemite.

Well, it looks like that it was SIP/rootless I had disabled for some odd reason. Enabled it and now my two finger tap works like a charm.
Lesson learned. Don't f*** with things you don't understand
