Two Functions for iPad

So I'm a member of the unhappy side of the iPad announcement. I was very displeased that they announced a large iPod instead of a OS X tabet computer. So I try to come up with reasons to buy apple products, I try to convince myself I need a shuffle ( I have 3 ipods....I really dont need a shuffle). Anyhow so two reasons I would love to have an iPad.

1. The shower, ive always dreamnt of one day having a waterproof touch screen mac in my shower. if they came out with a waterproof case and some water proof speakers it would be great. Watch videos, listen to music, surf the web while you shower.

2. This one i think is a little more realistic. I want an iPad installed in the dash of my car. If it could run the ac and defrost that would be incredible, more importantly though, I dont use my radio anyway, I only use my ipod in the car. How great would it be to have the 10 inch screen playing videos. Also using the iPad music player would be a great way to listen to music in the car.

With that said, I also need to start crapping money to be able to afford an 800 dollar ipod for my shower/car.

You can use your ipad in the shower. Just make sure you have it plugged into the charger first.

This could be one of the worst idea I've ever heard. How long do you spend in the shower? 5-10 minutes? You can't live without information for 5-10 minutes?

I guess you'll want an iSight cam on it too.......

lol this is ridiculous. But if you want a waterproof iPad case then there will be one when it comes out.

Actually, that sounds somewhat fun. It'd be nice to have music control while in the shower (sometimes I blare music in the room while I'm in the shower, but in-shower control could be cool.

Practical? Probably not. But then again, the ipad device itself is hardly practical. Might as well do something "magical" with it.

Exactly what I was thinking. I like toys as much as the next guy, but I can definitely live without them while in the shower.

Sell some of those iPods and invest in a nice couch. That's your iPad use case.

With the right placement of a TV and the bathroom mirror, you can watch "those videos" from the shower and don't need to get your ipad wet.

Exactly what I was thinking. I like toys as much as the next guy, but I can definitely live without them while in the shower.

Plus, the iPad may be too absorbent for use in the shower.....
