Since I'm still new to this iMac M3 and Sonoma coming from Catalina there are only 2 INTEL process left running in Activity monitor. Apple has almost eliminated just about everything except for these two. Two more to go Apple.

Seeing your post, I had to check for myself.
Looks pretty similar to yours:

CarbonComponentScannerXPC
VisualizerService-x86 (Music)

I looked it up, and found this, nothing to worry about it seems:

Yeah, oh I'm not worried. I just found it interesting that Apple has just 2 more thingies left before it's all Apple and no more INTEL. 😀

Even after the Sequoia 15.1 update the WardaSynthesizer_x86_64 is still there 😭 is it safe to terminate the process? Sorry for asking the silly question 😅

Performance reviews I read, and my personal experience, is that Apple Silicon runs Intel apps at pretty much the same speed as they would have run natively on a similarly clocked Intel processor.

In moving from an Intel Mac Pro (3.2 GHz 8 core Xeon) to an Apple Silicon Mac Studio (M1 Max), I found that the Intel apps I brought over to the Mac Studio from the Mac Pro seemed FASTER on the Mac Studio. The performance reviews I read said something like "approximately 95% of the native Intel execution time". THAT is how good Apple Silicon is.

So... I wouldn't be too worried about a few Intel items still kicking around. Little to no impact!

Thank you so much for the update that is very reassuring!!! No wonder apple isn't going too crazy to remove these processes:

This is weird because I’ve never had any Intel process until I installed Steam today which forced me to install Rosetta and lo and behold.

Just find it annoying because I never saw this before and now JUST because of Steam this instantly spawns :D
