Two MAcBook questions, probably pretty easy...

First, to satisfy me... How accurate is apple's shipe estimate?!?! It says it should ship by the 19th...Bu tI'm wondering if there is a chance it will arrive sooner? I REALLY want it..

Secondly, an actual question... I'll install istumble when I get it, but I' a desktop mac user, so I'm not sure how wireless networks are, in terms of connecting. If I just drive around, and it detects an open network, will it connect?
Or, if not, what all is involved?

you just install istumbler and if you see an open network around, you can just connect to it, that's it. and shipping ETA is quite accurate if your machine ships within the u.s but from china, it's a bit of a lottery.

When an open network is detected, you get a pop up asking you if you want to join. If you leave the area, and then return, it will automatically join a network if you joined it in the past.
