Two Months???

Today, I ordered my 1.83 gHZ 512MB RAM White MacBook! But I have an ever-so minor problem...

It tells me it won't ship until DECEMBER the 14th! That is more than two months away! Would this be a mistake, or will I literally have to wait that long for my baby to arrive?

when i got mine it shipped in 24 hrs....
but that was back in july

That can't be right. I'm sure it'll update soon to 2-5 days.

I forgot to mention that I ordered the 949$ refurb one on their site which says "Ships in 3-5 Business days." I know it wouldn't come for a while anyway, because today's Sunday, and tomorrow's Columbus day... but come on, two months? :p I'll check back later.

Hahaha. I ordered my blackbook with an 8 day delivery. Due to popular demand, it got cancelled 23 days after i ordered it and i stil havent received it so im waiting til C2D

if you want one now cancel your order and go to an apple store. They usually have plenty in stock.
 
I'd do that if there was an apple store within 200 miles of here. >_<

Anyway, like I said, I'll just check back within the day and hope that it's changed.
 
Wow, that's a long time! :(

I ordered my white 2.0 ghz macbook on 8 September and it came on the 26th. (It seems that shipping times are longer to Canada than the US.) Shipping took about a week, with a weekend in the middle of it.
 
Gee... If I had to wait that long, I think I would be trying some way to get to the Apple store.

I ordered my refurbished macbook on sept 20 and got it on oct 4, even though my estimated arrival date was oct 12. Two month seem very long maybe that had an error.
 
I ordered my Macbook on the 3rd Oct. It was shipped by the 6th Oct, and I'm getting an estimated delivery date for the 19th Oct. Agggges. Not a happy bunny:(

So long as I get that upgrade:D

But seriously, I think Apple need to review this, when I ordered my Macbook the only information about how fast it would get to me was where it says "ships in 3 days", I think this is very misleading, and you don't find out how long it's going to take until you have sent them your card details.

Not good enough IMO:(
