I am considering the iPad as a laptop replacement possibly (or at least in terms of porting it around).

I understand the iPad doesn't print as it has no USB port, but is there anyway to have it print docs to an airport express?

In terms of iWork, does anyone know if the iWork apps can save files in microsquish format? i.e. Pages saving as doc or docx, numbers saving as xls or xlsx, etc.

I know it can read MS formats, but what about saving?

In short, my very common workflow is creating spreadsheets and word docs, and e-mailing them to people. Is that easily supported.

I believe Pages for iPad can export to .doc, and I know it lets you email that stuff. For printing, I think someone said that one of the video apps has that as a feature; Air Video maybe? Something like that.

Thanks for the reply. I thought I read AirVideo was for like printing pictures only or something. I'll double-check, though, just in case.

I've got to think SOMEONE will come up with a solution (right???)
