Morning all,
I'm sorry for the generic title and if any of these two questions have came up previously, I had a quick search but was unable to turn anything up. Especially for the first one which is starting to worry me the more I think about it.
After waiting months for my contract to finally finish I was able to take the plunge and buy my first iphone yesterday (3gs) however I rushed into things a little quickly, by putting an one of those protective screen coatings, the plastic flimsy shield things, I'm now wondering by putting this on will it damage the oleophobic screen coating, if I were ever to take the plastic cover off? Should I even have the plastic coating on in the first place?
My second question is more trivial, when I connected the iphone to itunes for the first time, for registration and it's initial sync a pop up warning occured not long after I started the process saying that the itunes store was busy and the program quit. Is there anyway to check that my registration went through correctly, or is there another chance for me to do this process again? What does the iphone actually ask you to do during these steps? As I only got to the 'enter your apple id' part before everything shut down.
Sorry if these seem like easy questions, hopefully you will be able to help me out. I'll be sitting on this thread panicing until someone can put my mind at rest
