Hey guys im planning to sell my dual 2.7 powermac g5 for around 2500. Its a standard setup and it will come with a copy of tiger along with all the basic stuff, keyboard, mouse, etc. Original packaging included. I was wondering is that a good price?

Also i was wondering how good is xp running on the new intel macs? I remember seeing half life 2 running exceptionally well on the intel macs using bootcamp. Well thanks for the relpies.

It is worth about 2500 to 2700. So you are right in your estimates. So far, the Boot Camp helps make the Intel Macs just as good as a regular Core Duo laptop, there are more than enough benchmarks and what not out there, just do a look though digg.com for links to them. Boot Camp was probably made to help give out drivers for the Mac hardware, which if you read about what is supported, its everything but the remote and other special stuff that Apple is trying to keep OS X only. XP should run just as well as Windows on any other computer, which, is just as good as Windows can run if you catch my drift.

The pricing is good for that PowerMac, I'm still kinda wondering why you'd sell it though. I think XP pretty much runs native on Intel Macs, hence the performance. Mac's aren't really the best with games...get a pc for games.
