Hi all,
I just have two questions about Catalina features that I wanted to confirm. I have a 2017 21.5 iMac, 4k screen.
One: can I do Sidecar? There's that Twitter post where the developer says iMac 27 late 2015, but there's not a mention of 21.5. I imagine my 2017 21.5 iMac can support it, right??
Two: will my computer be supported with Apple's 4k streaming when the TV app is coming to Catalina? I would imagine that's a yes, but on Apple's site, under the all features for Catalina page, it says 4k is supported on 2018 and newer Macs. From the site: "4K, 4K HDR, 4K Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and HDR10 content is available on all Mac models introduced in 2018 or later with 4K-resolution screens" -- That has to be a typo right?? How could 2017 iMacs that literally have a 4k/5k display not be included? I gotta admit I'll be quite unhappy with Apple if they deem my model "unable" to stream the content that the screen is made to display.
Does anyone have insight into this? Thanks in advance!!
