1) What's the best and cleanest method of completely erasing it and giving my OSX partition the space back?

2) Is there anyway to re-size the XP partition? I currently have it at 10.00 GB and can't see myself using more than 3.00 or 4.00 GB.

1) Simply run Boot Camp and re-partition the drive back to one big OS X partition.

2) Also simple. Run Boot Camp and set the XP partition to the desired size. Re-install XP. I do not know of anyway to non-destructively change the size of the XP partition.
