I usually stick to the Mac forums here, but I have two questions.
One, I bought an iPod Touch with my new MacBook Air. I plan to give it to my daughter for her birthday in a few weeks. It was purchased on 11 June 09. Since purchased after 3.0 was announced, will I have to pay for the 3.0 upgrade for the iPod Touch?
Second, I have had an iPhone 3G since its release date. It is the White 16 GB Edition. It has a few tiny cracks in the case. I would like to replace the case. I looked on iFixIt.com and didn't see anything about the white case, but I saw nearly every other part. I assume this is because it's an Apple part whereas the rest are sold by other companies who sell the parts to Apple too. So, is there anywhere I can get a new white 16 GB plastic case for my iPhone 3G? The cracks are the common ones that just show up. It really sucks that this happens with the dang white model, but I want to fix it so I can sell it and use the money for an iPhone 3G S.
