Hi,

I'm signing up for the iphone developer program and have a couple questions.

1) Can I switch between the individual and company program after I sign up?

2) If I sign up for the individual program, do I still get the 99 ad-hoc spots to add other people?

Thanks.

1. You can switch from individual to company, but I don't know if you can go the other way.

2. Yes.

Individual program gets the same number of Ad Hoc spots as a company.

Switching has been reported to take months of trying to send Apple the required incorporation paperwork and getting them to respond. Maybe others have better luck.

What are the advantages and disadvantages (short and long term) of company over individual?

Thanks for your help guys!

Depends on in what jurisdiction/country you're located. If you don't want to consult with an attorney, try some books on small business law for your jurisdiction. (Nolo Press, for example).

but ianal.
