Has the SE 2 been confirmed? And is it a good idea to get a 6s plus or will Apple stop providing support and updates to it? I can’t afford anything more than a 6s plus

If it’s all you can afford, a 6S will still perform fine however... budget for a new battery though or the experience will be horrible.
It should get iOS 14 but again, no one knows for certain yet. Even if it doesn’t, will still perform fine for a couple of years if healthy.

Apple doesn’t confirm new devices until their release.

It’s confirmed when it’s released. It’s released when I can see it on their website.

Personally I wouldn’t buy a 6s on 2020. An 8+ or SE, maybe.
