Ok, I have two simple (or is it????) questions:

I am on unlocked (using ANYSIM) 1.0.2, MODEM FIRMWARE 03.14.08_G iPhone. I am from India. What would be the EXACT steps for upgrading to a 1.1.4 unlocked iPhone?

Secondly, is there any hack that removes the TOP and BOTTOM bars (the ones below the clock and the SLIDE TO UNLOCK text)?
