I don't understand why there are two sets of calendars now. I show a set of calendars under the heading "On My iPhone" and the exact same set under the heading ".Mac (MobileMe)". If I view by "All Calendars", I see two sets of every event.

If I add an event, I want it to show up in my iphone and I want it to update through MobileMe. To make things worse, it seems that every time I leave the calendar app, even though the last set of calendars I viewed was ".Mac (MobileMe)", when I return and begin adding a new event, it's reverted to the "On My iPhone" set of calendars.

This just makes no sense to me.

I have been wondering the same thing. I would like to have just one calendar, mobile me which should control everything. Very confusing and can not find an answer.

I'm having the same problem.

I have two sets of calendars on my iphone - the first set are called "All On My iPhone" and the 2nd set are called "All mobileme" (to compound the problem, the 1st set are incorrectly color-coded, which is a problem I've seen posted elsewhere)

Has this been resolved? does anybody know of a fix?

Are you using iCal?

If so, give this a try: By default, iCal comes with 2 calendars - Home and Work... Did you rename or delete one of these?

Make sure that your local iCal has 2 calendars and that everything agrees and sync's properly with MobileMe...

Turn OFF iCal sync on your phone from phone's syst. pref's

SHUT DOWN iPhone holding both buttons

Restart iphone and iCal
