txt msg appear with wrong timestamp

I get txt msg with wrong timestamp. my txt are at least 5 hours behind my current CDT. It started with AIM txt, then recently began with cell phone txt. I use T-Mobile USA on iPhone 3G with 2.2 Unlocked. I also reset the network settings, which did not fix it. What can be the problem? Should I call T-Mobile?
