Hello to everyone!
Now is the time to share some good news with you.

Meet Typeeto – an awesome app that allows using Mac as a Bluetooth keyboard for iOS devices, Game Consoles, Android and many other gadgets of yours. We don’t need to tell you that typing on a full-scale keyboard is much faster and more convenient. Now use a full-scale keyboard to type in a text and it will be displayed real-time on your device screen.

First, setting it up is really easy. All you need to do is to connect your device to Mac, launch Typeeto and start typing right away. You don’t have to install any other apps or modules on the device.

Second, all it takes you to switch between devices is a single click or a customizable hotkey press.

Third, you can connect any number of devices to your Mac, provided they are supported by Typeeto.

Additional features:

• Select between Dark & Light themes
• Make use of sound effects
• Designate a hotkey to each device
• The device’s type is detected automatically, but you can always change it in Preferences
• Enjoy our cool animation :)

Save your time and effort by making most of a full-scale Mac keyboard.

Hello everyone!

This post is for those who want to be filled in on our latest plans for Typeeto.

We love receiving your feedback on our products and here is what we hear from you about Typeeto. First problem reported by you is compatibility with Sony Playstation 3 and 4; second is support for Apple TV 4th generation; and the last is changing the input language for iOS 9 devices. Let us have a closer look at all of them, we will start from the last:

1. Since the latest update CMD + Space shortcut is no more used for changing an input language, it now brings up Spotlight search. They have assigned Fn key to display the language menu. However this key has it own peculiar functionality and we are yet to figure out how to go about it. But no worries – this issue will certainly be addressed in our next release.

2. As for Apple TV 4th generation – no support is provided for Bluetooth keyboards, read here. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do about it. But hey, don’t forget that Typeeto works well with the previous generations of Apple TV.

3. Last in the list comes our top priority - compatibility with Sony Playstation platform. You know that Typeeto does not work with PS3 and 4 at the moment due to Sony proprietary system limitations. We are still working on resolving this issue and are hopeful to be done with it soon.

Should you have any queries or questions, please feel free to contact our customer service at support@eltima.com. Do not forget to subscribe to our pages on Twitter and Facebook to stay updated.

I've installed the tvOS beta, and Typeeto works very will with it -- I prefer it over a separate Bluetooth keyboard :)

Out of curiosity, which keyboard key simulates the [Home] button? I've figured out the [ESC] is the [Menu] button, but can't figure out [Home]...

Hi! Thank you for your feedback!

There is no key that simulates [Home] button unfortunately.

By the way, would you like to test beta versions of our apps? I could add you to the list of beta testers. If it is interesting for you, please send me an e-mail to dasha.g@eltima.com.
