Let's say i want to go to www.google.com

I type it in really fast in the browser, but notice there is a small delay while I type.. anyone else get this?

Happens to me sometimes its real bad like i'll type the whole word and nothing shows up for a couple seconds and then you hear a bunch of clicks and it shows up. Think it's a low memory issue, this used to happen on my PC sometimes when I would do stability testing using all the ram if you browsed the internet while it was running you could type several words before they showed up LOL

I don't think it has anything to do with the ram. I've been experiencing this typing lag since I got the device, and I've noticed that it only occurs in certain areas. For example, typing in this post shows no lag, but typing in the search or address bar does initially. Also I can start up Pages and type without issue. I believe this is just a bug that will be fixed with the iOS 4 update hopefully.

How fast do you people type to get the lag, I type with two fingers on each hand and can get about 1 1/2 words per second without typos (well a couple of typos) and I've experience the lag only when I type at my fastest as soon as the webpage opens, but after that its fine

Yea, I've experienced some lag here too. Odd thing is that I've noticed it's more pronounced on a 65g iPad I've used over here. The 16g seems to be fine. Not too sure what to make of that.
