If only the iPad came with a keyboard attached already.
And perhaprs they could put a hinge on it to make the iPad sit at a comfortable angle whilst typing and also allowing for the keyboard to protect the screen when 'closed'. But that's all just silly thinking...
Anyone who thought it would be easy to type on out of box is very naive. That said, there's probably a learning curve. I don't know how easy it's going to be 1 month from now. But, it's not likely going to be fun to write long compositions.

Yeah that's just crazy talk. It's clearly a much better experience to carry a separate keyboard around with you and then attach them together when you want to type anything more than a URL or short email.If only the iPad came with a keyboard attached already.

Using the keyboard on my lap is a little awkward. I look forward to getting the Apple case on Monday.
**edit I seem to be making a lot of typos so far. The screen is very sensitive, and picks up finger movements very easily.
