I heard they let the guy who keeps pressing the button that keeps the store open have a break every few months.
I think MacRumours will melt down if they've just done a silent refresh on the rMBP
No, what would cause a meltdown is if it was only down for some trivial server maintenance, like replacing the fan filters, and not to update any products. There'd be 97,000 people scouring store.apple.com, finding nothing, and reporting the negative results, along with thousands more people speculating on what hasn't been found yet.
