Does anyone know if its possible to get it back? I really hate having ads show up everywhere. uBlock Origins was the best ad blocker I've ever used for macOS.

uBlock Origins got removed after updating to Catalina

I just added it back in from the App Store
Just to point that out: uBlock Origins for Firefox blocks the support website for "uBlock" from the MAS.
Soooo… let me make the guess that uBlock != uBlock…
Not the same uBlock. Also note, the App Store name is not "uBlock Origins". Someone probably just tried to cash in on the name when the push for App Store content blockers to replace Safari Extensions was started.

I ran into the same issue a while back when trying out the Safari Tech Preview. Apple is killing Safari Extensions and trying to promote content blockers on the Mac App Store.
I’ve tried most of the new ones from the App Store (since Safari Extensions are now deprecated. RIP uBlock Origin). Wipr didn’t have enough customization for me. You turn it on and there’s nothing you can do after that.
Unicorn Blocker and Roadblock were the other highest rated content blockers, and they didn’t work consistently or reliably for me.
I then tried the AdGuard App Store app, which works only with Safari, and it worked decently, but I removed that and bought the standalone AdGuard app from their website https://adguard.com/en/welcome.html.
The standalone app works system-wide, regardless of your browser choice, and offers way more customization and user filters than the App Store app. It’s not free, but none of the good content blockers are.
The App Store content blockers are restricted with what they can do, whereas the standalone apps don't face the same restrictions. That said, I'm using their AdGuard content blocker app from the iOS App Store on my iPhone and iPad, and it also works incredibly well.
Like I said, I’ve tried many of the popular ones, and AdGuard is easily the best option, in my opinion. I've used it for a while now, and it's the closest I've found to uBlock Origin. It has worked incredibly well for me, and I highly recommend it. Check it out.

If you are talking about uBlock Origin fork for Safari, it hasn’t been updated for more than a year. It started doing more harm than good. I have experienced hang ups and slow down in Safari when I was using it. As soon as I turned it off, everything was better.
I really wish uBlocks Origins would be updated to work with the latest macOS Catalina. As for AdGuard I will give that a try. You said it works on the system level? Also if I purchase it for the Mac will it also offer me the iOS/iPadOS version for free, or do I need to purchases all of those separately? Thanks for the info.
The Safari version in Catalina is copying what the Tech Preview version did ages ago, which is to block certain types of extensions.
For other reasons, I have already switched to Firefox (Nightly) and that supports uBlock Origin just fine. And Bitwarden, which Safari has also deleted.
Important note: uBlock != uBlock Origin. The former ripped off the latter and seems not to be recommended.

That's probably uBlock. uBlock Origin is still being updated although it isn't available from the app store. If you've not upgraded to Catalina, I recommend installing it. https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock#safari-macos
Honestly, AdGuard seems to be working even better than uBlock Origin for me. Yes, the standalone app from their website (ie. NOT the App Store app), works on the system level. The only purchase bundling I've seen is for a PC/Mac license and an Android license, as the iOS app does not have the same licensing. The iOS/iPadOS app is available in two variants: a free one, and a one-time payment version that also doubles as a VPN for more in-depth ad-blocking, but I've been using the free version as I have my own VPN, and it's been working great. The standalone app comes with a free 14-day trial for you to decide if you want to purchase it or not, but I've been loving it.

For awareness and maybe to get involved––Manifest v3's implementation by Mozilla hasn't been clarified/finalized. There's still the chance extensions will become ineffective in Fx.
