UbuntU on Mini

I've been trying to dual/triple boot OSx lion, Win7, and Ubuntu.
I've boot-camped win7 before but Ubuntu doesn't want to boot from disk on my mini.

Ubuntu's process is sideways and redundant as far as booting and loading ubuntu on a mac. I've burnt the disk properly and have tried 2yr, 5yr, and may try server version. When I start from disk UbuntU wont load (black screen). Win7 takes a good 15 seconds to begin to boot from a black screen.

I'm at crappo with dual booting UbuntU and would really like to try it out, macs boot alternate to PCs in general. Has anyone had any luck?

Will Ubuntu load if I leave it on blankscreen for a while? If not I'll have to desktop boot from W7 when I get ahold of it again.

I'm going to load Linux Mint into a VM when I get my Mini in about a week. Let us know how it goes with Ubuntu.

I have Ubuntu running on my 2011 mini. Guess it works on the new 2012 too. The key for me was to use a reliable USB stick. They are not all reliable!

No, I can't run it, I'm going to have to install from desktop mode in windows or some other f*aggotry since ubuntu society can't fix lolfag ***** grub.

New macs are never able to run Ubuntu. (From my experience at least). Usually a new distro solves a lot of the incompatibilities but not all.

Go HERE and wait for the 2012 Mini to show up. They'll update with things that work and things that don't work.

I can recall when I bought my 2010 MBP I couldn't either install or run ubuntu from the Live CD. Had to wait for a new distro. DUH.
