So, I did the automatic updates suggested by apple when I first set up the iBook. Among other things, it upped me to version 10.4.3 from the 10.4.2. Well, I restarted and everything. Today, I looked at about this Mac and it says version 10.4.3, but for the Finder itself, it says Finder version 10.4.2 - what happened? Did my Mac update to 10.4.3, but Finder didn't "take"? I'm cofused. :confused:

same as mine, it is normal, unless Apple updates it, it wont change, same with several other system components/core apps

That number's unrelated to the OS number. Check this out...
