So let's see I ordered the 21.5" Core i5 july 30th, 4 days later i finally get an email from apple telling me it'll ship sometime in another 1-3 days. So i cancel that and go with the refurb 27" Core i7 since it says it'll ship within 24hrs. And it does. It ships August 5th. UPS says it's going to be delivered August 12th. 8 days later it makes it's trip from CA to DE, not including the extra four days apple delayed in telling me the 21.5" core i5 isn't going to be available during the time frame they originally said.

all in all i'm just venting at how long it has taken for me to get my new iMac :-(

If you were looking for something immediately why did you choose the website over a store. It honestly doesn't sound like it's taking all that long. In total, what 2 weeks. Changing an order in the middle of that.

I wasn't looking for immediate, but I think this is a little excessive. I've ordered plenty of things online that shipped the same distance that got here way faster.

Also, I didn't know the Apple stores carried refurbished iMacs.
