I bet AT computers are regretting moving in to the arcade now.
going to be tough to be a reseller once the official apple store opens.

Sadly the same was not true here in Leicester. KRCS were good, useful, reliable, and cheaper than the Apple store that arrived in a new shopping centre. But the arrival of the store meant that KRCS closed up shop.

Oh My GOD... send one here down to Bournemouth. The only shop that sells Mac stuff is Solutions :/

No great loss really. The guys at AT Computers are a bunch of muppets anyway.

That's a bit harsh i think they gave a reasonable service considering the way that Apple treat resellers,
and if you get a job at the Apple store you'll probably be working with most of them soon.;)

Those job offers have been there ages! I nearly went to apply before I thought I should give my career ago! But I would love to work there, provided I didn't have to deal with the general public much.....oh wait?!:apple:

At home
I can almost smell the throng of people eager to get their hands on a free T-shirt.

I have two now - one from London Reagent Street and one from Cambridge.
Both still in their boxes (I often wonder if they are worth anything).

Gosh I miss the excitement.

Just got back from the opening worth it for the free t-shirt and see in some of my old Virgin Mega-store colleagues having to hi-five the people in the queue.
amazed how many people were there the line went right around the block.

pic: its a fair size they all look the same anyway.

Did they have any new iMacs?

I just went into the Cambridge store and there are no new iMacs on display and no new mice - how cr@p is that! Luckily for the store I did not see anyone purchase an iMac else I would of stopped them
