Hello,

I'm about to get a blackberry to use in tandem with my 3GS but do not want to get another contract for it. I was wondering if its possible to activate and use the PAYG sim that came with my 3GS in the BB and have access to the 1yr free data/wifi...basically do the same tariff rules still apply if the phones are switched

If not what's the best way (if there is a way) to use a BlackBerry on PAYG?

They'll cancel the free internet sooner or later if its being used in a non iphone device I believe, probably wont for brief usage, but if its being used a lot, they will, they certainly do for data dongles now as the terms specify the free data is only for iphones.

I can confirm this. My friend used his iPhone PAYG SIM with a USB modem and the free internet was cut off after a few weeks.
