I think I am going to return my iPad Mini, but I ordered online, and I can't see anywhere that says I can return it to an Apple Store, which I would much rather do, as there's no risk of it getting lost in transit that way - does anyone know Apple's policy on this?

I did this 3 years ago and they just asked for my order number & email address, and took the return - but I don't know if things have changed since.

Yes, it’s very easy process. I’ve returned an iPhone and Apple Watch in the past.

Yes, you can return any online order, whether it was picked up in store or delivered, to an Apple Store. You can provide them with your order number or they can retrieve your order information from the serial number of your device, after which they’ll be able to process your return.

I’ve returned an iPad Mini this morning. Bought online, realised I wanted a cellular version so took the Wi-Fi only one in to a store to return. Entire process took about 60 seconds - all they needed was the web order number.

If you can I’d recommend returning to store as your original payment method is refunded to straight away.
