Hi - am looking to swap my unlocked iPhone 6 for a 6 +
Someone with a 6+ is interested but are in process of having it unlocked
Question I have is that if they are only partly through their contract with their carrier, but their carrier does unlock it what would happen if they stopped paying the rest of their contract - can their carrier re lock it and black list it ?

Typically the Network would restrict the Account Holders Sim Card if a bill is not paid.

Once an Unlock has been processed it remains unlocked.

A Network normally only BlackLists / blocks a phones imei number if the phone is reported as lost or stolen or used to claim against via an Insurance Claim which is something you also need to consider.
