Hi, my 8GB iphone is misbehaving. The outgoing call quality has dropped probably due to a dodgy/broken microphone, everyone i talk to now either can't hear me or say i sound very distant.

So... what is the quickest way to get it fixed or replaced? Should I take it to the apple store or Carphone Warehouse?

Thanks!

Where ever you purchased it from you have a 12 Month warranty

Well the warranty is from the manufacturer (Apple), however the retailer is also responsible for the phone under the Sale of Goods Act (SoGA) which gives you additional protections above and beyond whatever the warranty offers (basically that it should be fit for purpose and not go faulty within a "reasonable" amount of time).

So basically you can get either of them to fix the product - which of them would be quicker at getting it sorted I don't know though!
