UK edu discount via store vs telephone?

Hi,

I'm about to purchase a Macbook, but I'm unsure what is the best route to take for a me who is a student (University).

I would preferably like to buy from a retail outlet, but would I be loosing out somehow if I chose this option over buying via their education hotline?

Even though there is Quidco available (IIRC), order over the phone as you'll get a higher percentage off.
