I've bought the new MacBook from UK Higher Education Website (using my Uni's network), and according to the terms and conditions, it should come with 36 months / 3 year warrenty.

However, when i type in my serial number at the support page, it only shows approx. 12 months remaining, any ideas?

cheers;)

Warranty from who? Read the terms and conditions again. Is the warranty from Apple (AppleCare) or from your university computer store, etc...?

Presumably if they sold it to you on those terms, then that is what you get?

I'm buying a MacBook from the NUS store in the summer, so I hope its 36 months :)

I mean it really does clearly state in 10.1.1 of the T&Cs that you get the warranty, so I’m pretty confident.

Thanks for that post EricCHunky....does anyone have the whole document saved as a PDF or TXT that you can upload to keep as a record in case the rules change....
