Hi guys,

I'm going to be placing an order in the next day or two for the MacBook Pro. It won't be a build-to-order thing it'll be the standard config except with AppleCare Protection Plan. The web site says 3 - 4 weeks but does anyone have any realistic guesses as to how long it takes? I've ordered from the Apple Store before and found their time estimates to be pretty poor.

Thanks
Max

Have you considered reading one of the many other threads on this. My estimate: 3-4 weeks. They have been building these for a while now. They know how many they are able to build a day. They know how long the queue is. They know how long the shipping takes. There are very few surprises here. At best you can hope for just under 3 weeks I'd say.

What do you guys think the chances of them having them in the London Apple Store next weekend would be? I'd like to buy one from the shops but I don't want to get on a train for an hour and back if they won't have them :p
