UK iMac people - Weekend deliveries?

My iMac is on its way but my delivery estimate is the 11th which is this Sunday. Do Apple's UK couriers actually deliver at weekends?

I don't think so. Most couriers will only deliver on a Saturday if they've been paid extra, never heard of a Sunday delivery. There's always the option to pick it up from their depot on the Friday night if its arrived but won't be delivered until the Monday.

Is it coming via UPS ? In my experience they will not deliver on a Sunday, however I've had a few Sunday dates recently that were delivered on the Friday beforehand - best advice is to keep tracking and you'll soon get a view as when it's likely to come out on the van.

TNT do my Apple deliveries. No weekends but if you live near a depot (I'm just around the corner), they sometimes come back in the early evening, even if they have left an undeliverable card.

I had the same delivery estimate from Saturday until today when it changed to the 12th although it still reports that it's "on schedule". Keep checking.

I'm also in the UK. To be honest the estimated delivery date is a bit of a joke. Use the tracking number if you can, that'll show when it's actually getting closer.
