I find it hard to believe they'd have more stock than Apple.

They still showing now as 3rd November. I'm guessing they going to have a lot of angry people come next week.

Great. I got my confirmation so I’m not bothered right now. Seems better than waiting a shoddy 4-5 weeks IMO

Got my order in for November 3rd and felt very pleased with myself, then of course Nationwide texted me to say they'd blocked it. While I approved it by SMS within a minute, I finally got through to Apple just now to find out that their system kicked my order out of the queue because of it, so it's now as if I just ordered it an hour late.

Mate, I feel for you but I'm kinda hoping that my 2-3 week order gets bumped due to a lot of people having payment issues! Soz :-/

Got my order in at 08:04 email received at 08:05 with delivery for the 3rd November, great, have a celebratory jig around the room. my Joy is broken moments later with the apple pay message DECLINED, called the bank, first they say fraud then they say Apple's fault. no option on the order to try the payment again as it seems to be cancelled....delivery now 4-5 weeks

Where are you seeing cancelled mate?

I had pretty much the same thing happen, and i still see my order in my Apple order history as status-order recieved

hilariously, i also ordered a red leather case which was NOT declined, so no doubt i'll end up with a case and no phone haha.

Any idea why my order is not tied to my Apple ID? I paid with Apple Pay and got the email confirmation but when I try to go in to the order, it says the Apple ID doesn't have access to this order.

I have the same question, my apple pay email is different from online store, I ordered 1+1 using apple pay, and received a message saying 1 is declined, i called the bank and they said tough Sh*t

any suggestions about fixing the apple pay ???

Got an email saying deliverers November 3rd but when i look on "My Orders" see no mention of a delivery time mentioned atall.. anyone else ?

I can’t see it either, but my card confirmed that it is a pending transaction. Probably going to be OK.

I have NEVER gone to an apple store to pick up an iphone. Only had instore availability for the 3rd. Delivery was 2 -3 weeks by the time I was through. Excited to go an pick up the phone in person.

Because o2’s website was being useless (why am I not surprised), I started with a 3rd November but by the time I finished checkout it now says up to 3 weeks. So hoping they surprise me and give it to me sooner! *fingers crossed*

When I tried my Lloyds Amex card it said declined. Lloyds say the message shows it was Apple that declined it, not Lloyds. SWapped to BA Amex card and it went through. Probably an increase in latency caused some timeouts and declined messages.

Mine messed up - order went through for 3rd delivery - got email confirmation

Then got notification saying Apple Pay declined

Online now it says order placed but has no delivery

Will they honour my original delivery date when I'm able to update the payment details

I managed to snag 2 64GB SG for store collection next Friday.

Like everyone here I was trying the app as every year before it’s been super easy. But I guess everyone now knows that trick! So it didn’t load.

Swapped to the online store - by then 256GB was sold out (I would have gone for that if there was stock). When I went to pay on my iPad I did not have Apple Pay set up!

Entered my card details expecting to be told I was too late but it all went through.

I feel that my prediction that there wasn’t much online stock is backed up - by the time I got onto the store at 8:04 all deliveries to home were 4-5 weeks.

No 256GB in store pick up. Only 64GB.

To me it shows they moved stock to stores to create excitement and crowds.

I don’t know if they would have sold out quicker if the Apple store app was working but I feel lucky that it didn’t and I checked the online store.

the order was not on the app when I checked, but checking apple.com/orderstatus it appeared there. just off the phone with Apple, they advise they have a serious issue at their end and you cant update/amend the payment details. this should be fixed today at some point and then you should be able to change the payment type or try again.

the Apple guy said that delivery times should not be impacted, we shall see!

After fighting with the apps on both phone and iPad managed to get an iup reservation for Saturday 4th, 64Gb SG it’s quite good actually as I’m busy on the Friday organising a bonfire party!

It was all very strange with access to the store not working for some until later. Would be interesting to know how they controlled and determined that.

Same story as a few folk here, never got in the store until about 8:05, when I did managed to quickly order 64GB Silver but when it came to confirming the original 3rd November date got stuck in this endless cycle:

After about 5-10 mins I got confirmed for the 2 Dec !
