For some reason my apple pay changed my billing address on the order even though it's different in the settings.
Hasn't been rejected yet so hoping I can get them to change it before it goes tits up
If your payment was declined, clear the block with your bank and reorder ASAP.
If you just wait, Apple will only retry your payment method in 4 hours time and it'll be as if you made the order then in shipping terms (I spent 35 minutes on hold to speak to Apple so you don't have to).
Make the second order and then check the site in a day or so to see what's gone through/to properly cancel the initial order.
Feel for those on 4-5 weeks wait.
I ordered a case 20 minutes after the phone using the exact same Apple Pay card and that's approved just fine.Regarding the Apple Pay declines, surely we wouldn't have had order confirmation emails if the card was 'properly' declined?

Chill people - as long as you get an order confirmation, your place in the queue is confirmed. When Apple tries to take payment, it may decline. You then have at least 24 hours to contact Apple to get the payment sorted without it affecting your delivery date.

Maybe its preference- im guessing many people prefer to buy direct from apple rather than third party - hence why they may still have stock for the 3rd.I find it hard to believe they'd have more stock than Apple.
They still showing now as 3rd November. I'm guessing they going to have a lot of angry people come next week.
