After Nationwide declined and  told me that my order would be 4-5 weeks after I removed the block and called them, it's now showing as "Order In Progress - Delivers 3 Nov by Standard Shipping". Yay for nice customer support people being wrong.

Order in progress. Yessss! Delivery November 3rd. First attempt at reauthorising the same card didn’t work, but the second attempt did.

ETA: shows as a pending transaction on my credit card as well now. Never been so happy for such a large transaction to show!

When did you get that email? All I have now is the order confirmation from 8.04

Hi - I spoke to apple - they updated my card details and now my order is processing for delivery on the 3rd as originally ordered

Fraud decline - Please don’t panic!!

Mines all sorted, same 3rd nov delivery.

The website shows payment needs updating, update it job done. All happy.

In the same boat - just got to card unblocked but HSBC said I need to resubmit payment. Need to speak to Apple to see if they can enter it now and honour my original shipping date. Problem is online and chat and all phone lines are unavailable due to high demand

I can't be bothered to try and sort it, if it doesn't fix itself then it wasnt meant to be que sera sera and all that.

Got too much work on to sit around on the phone waiting for Apple all day.

Mine did that too, I quit the browser after 5 minutes and tried again — it worked pretty much instantly then.

So I have 2 different orders on 2 different cards. One I have successfully reauthorised, my bank having unblocked.

The other Natwest will not re-authorise. I am doing whilst on phone to bank and they saying no issues at their end. GGGGGRRRRRRRRR

I managed to reserve an X for iUP upgrade next Friday but looking at what I owe on my 7 Plus £311 and what it's still worth £400-500 it doesn't seen worth giving it back.

Anyone else in a similar position? I'm thinking I might just sell my iPhone and rejoin iUP

Me too. Have checked Ts and Cs and it’s just a case of contacting Barclays - there’s no early settlement fee. Other option that was offered to people upgrading to the 8 was the Apple trade in programme but I’m not entirely sure how that works - my phone is worth £380 on the Apple website apparently.

Managed to get through on the App pretty early. Went to buy and Apple Pay had forgotten all my addresses. Bit of mild panic to put them in and got a confirmation for delivery 3/11. Now to sell my 7+.

What accessories are people getting? I usually go for the Apple Leather case. Any recommendations for a brand of glass screen protector?

Yes, ordered a 256 Silver iPhone X, delivery by 17/11/17 which is quicker than I got my 7 Plus last year

Absolutely gutted. Using the app I wasn’t able to secure a 256gb in Silver using the iUP. Only option was grey 64gb. Can’t even order at all using the iUP now until Nov 4th

Just come here to post that be careful of carphone warehouse orders. They were showing for 3rd November for a very long time. Longer than Apple, which I find hard to believe even after 30 mins. I expect delay emails.

I managed to get one from Apple for the 3rd November.

Still showing the 3rd.

Surely impossible at this time
