I was wanting to join the IUP as it's now available in the UK, but naturally the phone I want (JB 256GB 7+) is available nowhere. The website states that the IUP orders would be for the 16th, the launch day, and then it says you can check back at 0600 on the 17th if your phone isn't in the list. (Probably my best bet to join after the chaos of launch days haha!)
If I want to join the IUP after launch day, how would it work? Would I choose any phone, and they'll eventually let me know when it's available for pickup? Or would it be similar to how it is now, where I simply choose from local Apple Store stock? OR does nobody simply know yet? I'm hoping the Americans who did this last year may have an answer. I'd like the phone sometime in October but in Jet Black so that's probably a huge no no!
