i have a uk iphone on o2 contract, have tried to downgrade to 1.1.1 have gone through with jailbreak and it has gone to 1.1.1, when i turn the phone on now it trys to activate and doesnt get a reception, only other problem im having is when i try to go to the web address http://jailbreakme.com it says safari cant open the page because it cant find the server. i have tried to different wifi networks aswell? anyone no why???:(
 
well that was weird it just started working as i sent this post!
 
right i went down to 1.1.1, got all apps running fine, then went back to 1.1.2 and it wiped them all! is there away of upgrading back and it not wiping all the apps?

I have an o2 uk iPhone which I have 1.1.2 running on it perfectly fine with installer.app working and am using a pay as you go o2 sim. If you want help with this add sambates@3020.co.uk to msn

i heard a lot of people saying that it wasn't possible to get EDGE with 02 pay as you go at all, and then someone posted an email from 02 saying it was available to all pay as you go customers. so i was hoping to hear from someone who was actually using a pay as you go in iphone. other people were saying than you can only o2 email.

i guess i'll find out if i actually put a pay as you go sim in my phone. right now it's just working as a more expensive touch!!!
