UK IUP: Changed employers this month, will this affect my credit application?

So, earlier this month I changed employers. I'm on the IUP and picking up my iPhone 8 Plus tomorrow. Is it my understanding that I need to go through a fresh credit check again?

Does the credit check see your employer? Shall I give my brand new employer (and new salary info) or previous employer? Concerned as my new salary hasn't come into my bank account yet so if there is an algorithm that checks these things out, my incomings from by bank account won't match what I've said I get!

Provide your current information. Like with most things, the truth is the best option.

The credit check likely is based on a credit score, so paying your bills on time is much more important than your job.

Thanks buddy! Equifax puts me on 500+ on their credit score (which is excellent). So hope it works out tomorrow!!

I have been on the IUP for a year now, When I did it for my iPhone 8 it did ask for my social but I have been checking and dont see anything that has hit my credit so you should be good.

Funnily enough, nor did I. Not a single search from Barclays. Why's that?!

I think what it does is just check to see if you have made payments on time and the account is in good standing.
